Voices for Power leader Melville Fernandez

Here’s a photo of the Voices for Power leaders at the Sydney Alliance North West Listening. It speaks volumes about the fellowship, camaraderie, and shared values we’ve been building over the years of the Voices for Power leadership journey.

We met with Ashvini Ambihaipahar MP

We shared our concerns about climate change following the new National Climate Risk Assessment and urged support for projects that protect our environment and drive the clean energy transition .

From what we heard, Ash was especially interested in Voices For Power Energy Literacy Program, recognising its huge impact for culturally and linguistically diverse communities. As someone from a CALD background herself, with solid experience supporting vulnerable families at St Vincent de Paul, Ash shows deep understanding of the challenges our communities face with the high cost of living .
