We met with Ashvini Ambihaipahar MP

Last week, our Voices for Power organiser joined the wonderful Knitting Nannas Louise, Tracy and Bronwyn to meet with Ashvini Ambihaipahar MP.

We shared our concerns about climate change following the new National Climate Risk Assessment and urged support for projects that protect our environment and drive the clean energy transition.

From what we heard, Ash was especially interested in Voices For Power Energy Literacy Program, recognising its huge impact for culturally and linguistically diverse communities. As someone from a CALD background herself, with solid experience supporting vulnerable families at St Vincent de Paul, Ash shows deep understanding of the challenges our communities face with the high cost of living.
